6% pulley for 4.0 SC engines
This pulley is smaller, so it turns faster. The 10% pulley is good for a performance increase of approx. 25 HP and 30 Nm more torque in the medium speed range. This is a noticeable difference that also reduces the performance gap.
The pulley is made of stainless steel.
It is not suitable for 4.2 Litre engines
It is not necessary to make modifications to supercharger housing.
Installation on the vehicle:
Installation in the built-in state is not recommended, even though advocated at othe rplaces
Assembly in dismantled condition
It is not absolutely necessary to cut open the old pulley, instead pull it off with a disk puller or press it out with a hydraulic press. The new belt pulley is strongly heated (approx. 400 °), stretched and can then be brought into position with a welding glove and tapped on. Or when the shaft is dismantled (and overhauled) easily with a hydraulic press.

- General information
The Jaguar S/C from 1998 (XKR, XJR and S-Type) use an Eaton compressor of the fourth generation. Noises can come from the bearings or from the Compressor drive. Jaguar has given an upgrade for the compressor drive, which is available in our shop. Only the 10% pulley is suitable for 4.2 models.

We clearly point out that this is a tuning part for which there is no general operating permit (ABE) or a TÜV certificate. Installation is at your own risk. There is only liability in the amount of the purchase price and in the case of demonstrably defective goods. We would like to point out that the compressor should be dismantled for the conversion and should not remain in the vehicle, as there is an acute risk of fire in the vehicle due to the necessary heating of the compressor.
